The Station Agent (2003)

A midget inherits the old train station. His arrival makes something new in a bored little town. Lonely little guy meets two totally different friends and changes his lonely being.
This is very simple story. No fireworks, no rivers of blood...
Just a short film fiction about otherness and true friendship.
The cast consists of: well known from Game of Thrones series, and a real midget, Peter Dinklage
at the side of Patricia Clarkson (Whatever Works, Shutter Island, Dogville, Phoebe in Wonderland)
and Bobby Cannavale (Vinyl series, Chef, Blue Jasmine)
and more than wonderfull Michelle Williams (Synecdoche New York, My Week with Marilyn <3, Shutter Island, Blue Valentine).
How is this movie? Funny, slightly touching, universal... but with many things missing. A nice movie for a free evening but definitely not for a crazy party or a romantic evening.
This is not a masterpiece for cinema connoisseurs but a pretty nice movie worth seeing.
