This spy thriller looks more brutal than i expected, directed by Francis Lawrence that made a former ballerina (Jennifer Lawrence) became unforgiving killers after joining secret Russian intelligence service. Hmm.. the Sparrow School sounds like a cross between marvel's Red Room (where Black widows are trained) and the assassin training camp in 'Naked Weapon'! It's sure going to be great... this is just the kind of role Jennifer Lawrence excels in!

Yup, they story looks similar, but i think Red Sparrow isn't the Black Widow origin story that fans have been asking for.

Nah! Definitely isn't! Though that might be part of the next phase of the MCU. I do hope it is ☺
