Annie Hall (1977) - Lets talk film / That painful movement in everyone's life

Hello all, today I'll be talking about a movie that is really painful to watch for me. Why is it painful? Well, its something that happened to me and that happens to almost everyone.... The Breakup. Today's movie "Annie Hall" directed by legendary comedian, actor and director Woody Allen is a study on different phases of relationship from its beginning to the breakup.

The movie is disturbingly relates to thing that happened in my life and I find it really hard to watch. The movie follows the relationship of Alvy Singer who falls in love with Annie Hall. Their relationship will be going great in the beginning, but soon Annie looses interest and things slowly starts to fall apart. On one side Annie will be trying to focus on other things in life other that the relationship, whereas Alvy will lose his calm trying to save their relationship. That is briefly what happens in this movie.

It is a black comedy. This movie is a must watch for filmmakers, the thought put while shooting scenes is astounding. This is one of the finest works of Woody Allen. Diane Keaton did an amazing job playing the role of Annie Hall.

One of my favorite scenes is the subtitled scene. Where Alvy and Annie are having a conversation in Annie's home. Here they both are having an awkward conversation where what have in their mind is different that what they are saying. What is inside their mind is show as subtitles, this will be completely different from what they are saying. This scene made me laugh real hard, I sometimes go on YouTube and watch this scene again and again during stress. You need to watch this scene.

"Annie Hall" breaks the forth wall many times to make it even more funny for the audience. This movie shows us the harsh truth in the funniest way possible. I think everyone should watch this film, just to get the feel of what I really mean when I say the word "truth".
