A young women who is a daughter of a former Nazi spy is made to help the government to spy on Alex Sebastian,a Nazi spy who was her fathers friend. The story revolves around this woman whose name is Alicia Huberman, this film shows what its like to be a spy. As we all know Hitchcock is a master of thriller flicks, this film is one of his best works. But, not a lot of people know this film.

T.R. Devlin who will be working for US government convinces Alicia to help the government by spying on Alex Sebastian. But, the problem is there is a huge amount of risk involved while recruiting her. Because, there is no guarantee that Alicia will betray her people to help another country. But, Devlin attempts to take the risk.

The movie takes its own time to set the premise properly. But, after first half of the film the movie will become very intense with a lot of things going at the same time. While working with Alicia, Devlin falls in love with her and soon both will be in love with each other. But, for Alicia the only way to get the trust from Alex Sebastian is by marrying him. This will lead to a much more interesting triangular love story.

The movie features one of the best showcases of Hitchcock's talent as a filmmaker. Hitchcock knows exactly how to grab your attention and swing it all around the places. Towards the end of the film, my legs started to shake and I almost lost control. Because, the climax is very intense and one of the best suspense scenes every in cinema.

There is no big explosions or chases in this film, but by using the least amount of resources it delivers a story that lasts a century. The simplicity is really one of the key features of this film. Most of the story takes place inside audiences minds. The movie just lays dots and the audience are left to makes sense out of it. By doing this the movie became very engaging and thrilling at the same time.

This is one of the best Hitchcockian classic. This movie will keep entertaining the audience in the future also. I highly recommend everyone to watch and enjoy this film. Thank you for reading this post. For more posts and reviews on movies follow me. Cheers!
