well @nandan, i believe a superhero is a world of escapism where even a weak can overnight dream to be strong. These illusionary stories are vaccum of hope for the darkened world of time where a portal of power instills a new faith and confidence. That is why vigilantism takes the course of the story and it appeals more to the audience. We all dream to be part of such world because in those hours we watch the movie or a series we actually visualise our inner self and it appeals more as we feel empowered.
