Wenn das Zeugenschutzprogramm auffliegt

Tanja Siebert (Katharina Wackernagel) ist die Expartnerin eines Bandenkopfes. Nachdem sie einen Mordversuch knapp überlebt, sagt sie gegen die Bande aus und landet nach der Verhandlung im Zeugenschutzprogramm. Verheiratet mit einem Autohändler, der nichts von ihrer Vergangenheit ahnt und einem kleinen Sohn, lebt sie fortan als Vera Grote in einem idyllischen, kleinen Dorf.

Bis zu dem Zeitpunkt, an dem die Bande entlassen wird und Vera im Internet mit einer ausgesetzten Belohnung versucht ausfindig zu machen. Als eine Frau, die Vera zum Verwechseln ähnelt, vor der Tür ihres Psychologen erschossen wird, nimmt das Chaos seinen Lauf.

Wem kann Vera nun wirklich noch trauen? Wer kennt ihre wahre Identität?
