White cliffs and brown stones
For someone more accustomed to white sand and brown stone cliffs at beaches, you can imagine my confusion when I first arrived at Dover, England. I was like "what?!"
It was a similar experience to the first time I saw snow. My mind just took a long time to process what I was looking at. It didn't make much sense, but there it was right in front of me.
These photos are not actually from said first experience of this inverted beach, rather, they were taken four years ago in the summer of 2014. How time flies, I remember this like it was yesterday. I walked up the cliffs from the back and ate at the oldest pub in Dover - and by default one of the oldest pubs in the world.
Peace and Love ✌🏿
