Jeep Willys on the Ranch

in filmphotography •  6 years ago

My dad and grandpa doing a little creative photography in the early '50s. These were taken on or near a cattle ranch my grandfather ran some where in California. I need to do a little more research to determine the exact location.

Quite the steep hill.

A little closer to reality. :)

35mm slide taken by my grandfather with an unknown camera owned by my dad. Scanned by me with a PowerSlide 5000 using VueScan x64 software. There is also some Lightroom editing applied by me.

Enjoy and thanks for looking.

Probably won't be doing any 100% upvotes again, but given the #film and #movies tags aren't too alive, I figured I'd give you one. I love how old these are, how simple and personal they are, yet now etched into the blockchain forever, for others to discover!

Thank you and no worries. I appreciate any upvote, no matter the percentage. I've quit upvoting myself and I'm turning anything I get into Steem Power. Would like to maybe buy some Steem at some point so my upvotes mean a little bit more and I can spread the wealth. :)

It's great to be able to share these photos instead of having them gather dust and rot in the closet.
