Mendocino Beach (Fuji Velvia 50)

Inland Mendocino County is still burning. The coast is pretty much the only place to avoid the smoke.

I shot these images last month before this wildfire hell broke out. I wish I could magically transport the poor people who are stuck in evacuations centers, to this part of the coast. With a snap of a finger I'd give every firefighter a moment of peace and a breath of fresh air ...on this chocolate sand beach.
