Sapiens - [[ Book review ]]

in filmroll •  7 years ago

Though I was born in a "normal" family (I don't feel like to say "poor" as there were lots of beggars in Vietnam) and my parents didn't have much time to educate us, my mother used to be a teacher so she brought us lots of books and magazines. Well, we (my sibling and me) had no toy but books. Spend time in silent reading a books has become one of my hobbies.

One morning walking through a book street and found some books that I already read in my teenage.

Actually my reading skill is not good, quite slow and I have to read a chapter again and again to get the main idea :p .
Recently I get addicted with the book "Sapiens - A brief history of humankind". The name says it all. History of million years has written down in a book, how can I make it...briefer?! :p
I have been always curious about the world, wanna study about the US political, why can that such society produce men with gun coming to new country, shooting people in pride, why travelers I met don't want to live there anymore?! Also about religions, what is God actually? What is equality, racism?! How money control the world?!
This book gives me the answer more or less, in a very simple way, and sometimes quite ironic. There are even some states and evidences that shocked me, clear my mind and then give a new perspective about "humans", about my "self".

I highly recommend this book for everyone, specially ones who are living a close political system, brainwashed by fake history and liar politicians.
Just read it. ;)

Tag me in any book reviews please and I'd appreciate it a lot.
