Jumanji, a film that I still enjoyed watching after 20 years

With the release of the new Jumanji film out in cinemas at the moment I decided to watch the old jumanji with my little girl earlier.

Jumanji was one of the first videos I was bought when I was a kid and I still have it to this day (it's survived a whole 23 years). I have to be honest that I think I still enjoyed watching it today as much as I did the first time I watched it back in 1995. I find it can be hard to get kids to watch "old" films as they are somewhat different to kids films of today but my little girl loved it and even asked if there was a sequal. So tomorrow we are off to watch the new one at the cinema (not sure who is more excited, me or her).

For those of you who haven't seen Jumaji you should give it a watch. The late Robin Williams is bang on cue as he is in most of his films. It didn't half make me feel old though as my daughter kept stating that the animals were obviously fake and not like the real crocodiles and lions in todays films, boy has technology come a long way in 20+ years.

Hopefully the new Jumanji is as good as the old one and I'll be doing as write up on it tomorrow.
