I'm just kidding about the title, but it is kind of true despite the fact that this movie is mostly starring Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz.
I quite enjoy drug-smuggling movies, especially if they are based on real-life events and this is one of the biographical ones that according to the people closest to the facts, is about 70% accurate, and that is good enough for me. Johnny Depp plays the lead role of George Jung and it is breifly explained that he grew up poor and by virtue of meeting the right (or wrong, depending on your perspective) people he becomes involved in low-level drug smuggling of weed and eventually becomes one of the highest level cocaine smugglers in the world, reporting directly to none other than Pablo Escobar.
The story is told in a very human type way, showing George as being far more interested in his friendships and family and well, i think that Mirtha Jung (played by the always stunning Penelope Cruz) is presented in a less-than-friendly light. You be the judge.

One of the main things I like about it is that Paul Reubens (Pee Wee Herman) actually is in the film for quite a time and does an amazing job. I really feel like Paul got a raw deal back in the 80's / 90's and was refreshing to see him working on big budget movies again.
This movie was a minor box office success, but I don't think studios get terribly excited about Depp films that make a mere $40 million.
I can't really classify this as "must see" but if you enjoy drug films (I tend to) and you feel bad for Paul Reubens, then yes, watch this. The fact that it is biographical makes it even more enjoyable.
For me, “Blow” is a movie about a person and a terrible loss, which, to great happiness, does not happen to every one of us. If we close our eyes to the fact that the story is connected with a white powder, we have a completely ordinary American. He wants to live in prosperity, to love and be loved, he wants to be happy, damn it. Who among us does not dream about it? Each of us is looking for a way to our own happiness, and each one has a different path. Jung made a mistake when choosing his. But which of us made no mistakes? It was just that someone realized and corrected it at the very beginning, but someone succeeded in blinking his eyes and he believed him, making him his executioner.
From the last frame of the film shakes the heart. And this is not because this man trafficked cocaine and got what he deserved; it's because it’s just a man that each of us could be, and he lost everything.

Johnny depp is an amazing actor for sure. and other actors in the film had done commendable job. moreover if the story is based on true events automatically the interest raises. and if I talk about the way you review the film.not only keeping yourself bound to the story but talk about the characters and story in general way too like the way you described about Paul Reubens. Paul Reubens played the father of the Penguin in that Fox television show on young teenager Batman, named Gotham. I liked him in that. I like movies based on true stories. This film looks kind of funny and interesting. I wonder if Cruz plays like a gold digger in this one.

Lol.... What a dramatic and deadly combination! I dare that there will be no one who wouldn't love to see the movie. But, the saddest part is I didnt see this movie yet... Lol! But, I will definitely watch it this week.. Just have to save my 2.5 hours from the busy life... Grab some kebabs and coke (my best friends for watching movies and episodes! 😋) and sail my ship with the Captain Jack Sparrow! 😃😃

I love a good drug movie and I would say this is probably one of the better ones! I love seeing Johanna drop actually take on a roll that isn’t set it one quirky or fantasy and show his acting chops in a real role! Between this I felt I had to wait until black mass to see him really show why his regarded as an A lister
