Inflation is ticking back up in the United States while Democrats and neo Conservatives in the Republican party continue to ignore the serious ramifications of us getting involved in foreign affairs. If the Democrats really truly cared about inflation, they would be demanding that Russia and Ukraine come together to end the conflict, or call for a ceasefire of some sort.
Although, the issues of inflation are very convoluted, we cannot ignore the effects of domestic policy, foreign policy and geopolitical struggles. I do not believe that most of the politicians in power right now have an interest in improving the economic situation for most poor Americans. They are pushing for the conflict so that poor people can be priced out of buying a home, buying a car, and buying luxury goods or property while struggling to find cheap food.
This entire conflict has done nothing but reveal that these politicians don't give a fuck about ANY OF US!
In my entire lifetime I think there have been just a couple of politicians that I can say truly cared about the people. Ron Paul was one of them and of course he was attacked relentlessly by the media and other politicians. I believe that Bernie Sanders truly cares as well even though I disagree with most of his ideas about potential solutions. he did sell out a bit when he ran for President though but I think he realized that he had to play the game to even have a chance.
