#1. You cannot save

Saving does not mean you should hoard your money and not do anything special with it so that someone else can come and spend it, no that is not what it means. Let’s face it we all make money because we want to spend it in order to obtain stuff and maintain stuff. Saving money means you see a better future that you could invest in by with the money that you saved. I know what I just said sounds stupid and not complex enough but then again I do not want to put you to sleep with my knowledge of how hedge funds work or how you should stay away from binary options and pour your funds into real estate. I am not going to do that that is not the purpose of this article but I will put the information in an article should you request it.

The Fix: Calculate your monthly expenses and account for every single transaction. Figure out what you don’t need, like instead of a fancy date try and cook for your bae.

#2. Your mindset is weak

Some people are the most negative people you could ever find in the world, their lives are not going according to plan and if these people find you with a weak mental state, it’s game over because you’re going to buy into their ideas. You’re going say to yourself “this guy is right many entrepreneurs fail within the first year of starting their small businesses” and before you know it you are drowning yourself in some scotch of that is your poison and you are on some high end drugs. You shouldn’t listen to people talk to you about your dreams unless if they are adding value to your life. No one knows how bad you want what you want, most of the time they are just nodding their heads for nothing. It has always been said that you should always be in the company of people that are more aligned with your visions, because as they say you are the company that you keep.

The Fix: Go see a motivational speaker and if you cannot afford it just download inspiration speeches and other information that will keep you focused and determined. Try and meditate because meditating clears your mind it’s like clearing your google chromes browser history. The last important thing that you should take in advisement is that you should switch your friends, the negative ones of-course and the ones you feel want to stand in the way of your dreams.

#3. You don’t have a developed business brain

Entrepreneurs can be born and made, you know what category you fall under. You can’t get into business of a niche industry without knowing and having the necessary requirements, this is like sending a dressmaker to fly a ship into space. Not that people who are dressmakers are dunces but what do they know about pod deployment? Also what does an astronaut know about broging?

The Fix: Buy yourself a hot cup of coffee and pass by the local book store and purchase books on business ans absorb and practise what was mentally absorbed. Go to seminars, find yourself a good business mentor and from there on poverty is history.

#4. You are comfortable being poor

Let’s be honest no one can save you especially from yourself and you being comfortable with your life is not helping anyone, especially if you have a family to feed. If you are always sitting on your sofa doing nothing but watching the same old channels you have been watching and binge watching those episodes of Chicago PD you are going to be poor because that’s you ever do.
The Fix: Think of being poor as the most disgusting and disturbing situation you could ever be with. Human beings hate not being comfortable so meaning you will end up being uncomfortable with being poor and you will change it until you become comfortable. Trust me this works.

#5. You like financial security more than financial freedom.

Financial security is what most employees have and financial freedom is what business people who invest have. Financial security means a guaranteed pay-check month after month and financial freedom means expansion and more money to take care of you and maybe 2 generations after you, it also means your kids have something to inherit because honestly no one inherits their parent’s job.

The fix: If you want just a taste of financial freedom get high paying jobs like being a senior executive at a major company or if you are determined and willing start a company small, grow it, eat lobster and drink champagne on a yacht somewhere.
