I joined Steemit on August 24, 2016. So far, for doing exactly nothing more than creating an account, it is already worth roughly $3.99. I would say that is excellent for merely starting an account. This is the start of my first blog and I will let you know how it goes, as it will be an ongoing blog, and honest account, of how well you can do by simply blogging on Steemit.

Okay, this is a pretty good twist on Steemit blogging--I am curious to see where this takes you. Will you also include pictures in your blogs, or will it be pure blogging as an experiment? Because that would be totally cool!

Hi Judy. It will definitely include pictures, charts, or whatever I need to honestly and effectively demonstrate how well (or not), one can do on steemit. I am in no way affiliated with steemit and know absolutely zero people doing it. I am curious myself. I am also a professional photographer by day, so a naturally visual person.

Yes, for starting an account you automatically receive $4.00 in steem power. I want to be as transparent as possible. So we will see how I do. I obviously have done nothing yet to earn extra. It will be a learning and honest account of how well my personal experience goes starting as a total newbie.
