The Get-Rich-Quick Solution to Financial Freedom

I know they’ve being around for ages, but I think we ought to have wise up by now; that, the instant gratification to financial freedom is not the solution to our financial predicament. I realize money is one of the emotional subjects that always catch people’s attention, but what baffles me is that, when you are trying to educate them on how to manage and multiply their money towards their financial liberation they sound awkward, but when they heard about a way of making quick money that is good to be true, they have all ears available and they want it immediately. Do we call this laziness or stupidity?

The get-rich-quick solution to financial freedom comes in various forms with lot of investment and financial opinion to back it up to convince a layman, but lately, majority come in form of Multi-Level-Marketing, pyramid scheme or network marketing so to say but in reality they are Ponzi Scheme; named after Charles Ponzi, who became notorious for using the technique in 1920, who with his operation took in so much money that it was the first to become known throughout the United States.

A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment operation where the operator, an individual or organization, pays returns to its investors from new capital paid to the operators by new investors, rather than from profit earned through legitimate sources. This should not be mistaken for network marketing.

Networking marketing is known to be one of the great discoveries in the marketing industry. It is a marketing strategy that gives even the consumer the opportunity to buy products at a discounted rate when they join as a member. Apart from buying products at a wholesale price they also earn commission on every products purchased by member they recruit. In addition they also enjoy good financial and most of the time holiday incentives for being one of the top performing members just like usual package in an organisation.

A good Network marketing scheme will have a reliable products and or services to exchange for member money except that they give the products or services at a wholesale price for members to sell at a retail price to generate profit. In a reality, any so called network marketing scheme that has nothing but promises to exchange for member’s cash and promised good to be true commission and returns for selling membership is paying such commission and returns from new members investment and such scheme is nothing but a pyramid scheme or better call it ponzi scheme and by the time recruiting new member is drying up, the scheme collapse.

When it is too good to be true, it is really true, the operators are not crazy, they are more or less like a selling shareholders according to Robert Kiyosaki. Even in a legitimate investment in a stock market, he let us realize there are buying shareholders and selling shareholders. If you really want to create wealth, the best is for you to try and become selling shareholders. Meaning there is no short cut to create wealth, you have to work hard and smart for it, you have to create value.

A selling shareholder is someone who starts a business, work hard and smart to develop it and eventually bring it to the stock market to sell it to the public.

“There is no such reality as something for nothing” says Napoleon Hill in his popular book “Think and Grow Rich” if you want to make money then you must think of what you will give in exchange for it.

Participating in the Ponzi scheme is the same as lottery, the operator can never loss. For every one person that wins thousands of others loose. Unfortunately, the financial resources people waste away for participating in these schemes is enough to gain the financial freedom they are so desperate about if only they can read books and take few classes on legitimate way to manage and multiply their money.

Delay is not a denial, there is no such thing as free lunch, if you care so much about your financial future; there is no need to be in haste, its one step after another. Make sure you save some money out of every earnings, no matter how small, learn how to multiply your money by investing or better still join an investment club and in less than 10 years you will be financially free.
