And that the ancestors, hadn't always come up with the best of ideas

Is one of the things I tell people when they cite to me the words of the "ancient masters" carelessly!

A great ending to another foolish Mr Ren, only focused on the literal meaning of what was told to him. I like the grandson character because it strikes me as a counterpart of our protagonist, a calm and simple man, focused on the more practical interpretations of wisdom presented.
