A Poor Man's Eiffel Tower In A Fog

I just love the fog! What you're looking at is the eastern radio tower on Radio Hill in Lahti, Finland. The towers are no longer in use. There is a radio museum on the hill adjacent to the towers. I couldn't get any closer to the tower because there's a fence around it. The fence is there most likely for two reasons: 1) to discourage (drunken) people from trying to climb the tower and 2) to keep falling chunks of ice from hitting people in the winter.

Which of the two first ones do you prefer? The color or the monochrome version?

This is a tough one. I'd say that those who climb the tower (drunken people) have no-one else to blame than their selves, as those who get hit by falling ice chunks can blame the random cruelty of life, I'd pic the first one. They deserve it.

Oh, you meant the photos! ;D

Color. Always (99% of the time) color.

This time I prefer the colored version, too. But the pictures of the trains cars I posted 10 days ago were better in monochrome.

Also, the first is better than the last. Although you didn't ask that but it is. The first has this industrial / post apocalypse feel.

Haha, love the twisted humour!

Monochrome always works for industrial photos, but I think I might prefer the first photo this time. It’s a really cool shot!

The monochrome version makes me imagine Dr Frankenstein placing his inanimate creature on top and waiting for lightning hahahaha

The color version and with fog. it seems to reach infinity.

In my childhood, there was also such a tower
