Lahti Harbour At Summer Solstice At Midnight

in finland •  7 years ago

I drove down to the harbour at about midnight tonight two days after summer solstice. I would like to show you how much light there was. The sun had set about an hour and fifteen minutes earlier. I couldn't make it at sunset. It was only 10 C when I took these. Not very comfortable wearing only shorts and a t-shirt. There were very few people at the harbour tonight. That's because most people are out of town at their summer cabins or taking part in festivals.

Stunning pictures Markku! :)

Wow. Still so light. Think it's quite funny with you in your shorts and t- shirt. I am exactly the same and sometimes regret it when it gets too cold.

Your shots are fantastics. Congratulations. Maybe next time will be better a wood sweater :)

What a wonder! ... You have a sunset almost perpetual .... although very cold! ... haha
10 degrees must hurt in the bones (with shorts).

The last two photos, when I saw them, I remembered your Comedy Open Mic Comedy Contest Round # 18 where you talk about the

I make the appointment:

The other day, I looked at a photo of the sky from @ dandesign86 and pointed out that it was a Klingon battle cruiser that tested its camouflage device. I've just laughed and told me to join #comedyopenmic. You can not trust that guy.

I think there are your own Klingon battle cruiser

It's good to find publications with this type of photography.
The truth is very beautiful, the sky looks great!

These are very peaceful pictures!!
Well done! Beautiful lighting!

beautiful @markkujantunen, what kind of festivals? by the way, in another topic and it's a shame that you can only speak in short messages on steem, Have you been able to give a little more to the reading of the silo series?
I'm done with the wool(Espejismo), and I already started with shift(Desolacion), respect to dystopia is fine, but I still like more metro 2033.

Rock and other music festivals mainly.

I haven't even got started with the silo series to be honest. I've had other stuff to do. Thanks for reminding me of having borrowed the book.
