Siperia Imperial Stout

in finland •  7 years ago  (edited)

I just finished drinking this. It is brewed by Siperia brewpub in Tampere. The law on alcohol retail sales changed and the new law came into effect at the beginning of this year. Brewpubs are now allowed to sell their beers bottled and to be taken out of the pub. A 0.33 l bottle of Siperia Imperial Stout only cost €3.9. It's alcoholic content is 8%.

It has a thick body with notes of coffee and chocolate. Quite hoppy. I'm not capable of finer analysis. Check RateBeer for details. Was rated at 3.9/5 by 259 raters. Really, really excellent value for money.

Looks nice. :)

I tell you, I do not drink. I have never liked it, haha I prefer to eat so much so that I prepare breakfast and dinner every day, only on Sundays I prepare lunch,
the point is that before I eat I prefer to eat.
Note, I only socially do it however I do not think it takes more than half a beer

Its taste is bitter? Is it made and marketed only in Finland?

I would guess the answer to the second question is yes, but I couldn't say how it tastes as I haven't tasted it yet. ;) I'll let Markku tell you about the taste.

You can only get it from that brewpub and perhaps a couple of other pubs in the vicinity. Yes, it's quite hoppy and that's a good thing.

Ok let's say then that it is an exclusive craft brewpub beer.

Refreshing beer drink, i hope the beer was satisfying to your taste. lovely photo of the beer bottle @markkujantunen

How do you say?...
Cheers!!
