Finnish Broadcasting Company removes kids show because side character is too racist

YLE also known as the Finnish Broadcasting Company has removed a children’s show from the air time because one of the side characters is racist. Guess which one. I give you a hint he wears yellow. YLE writes that they did it because they got messages from “Sami people” (Our own magic drum wielding and reindeer herding “Indians” up north) that they feel its racist and cultural appropriation. “Herra Heinämäen Lato-orkesteri” has been in our children’s show catalog since 2009.

But that’s not all. The whole debacle started because one girl who is larping as the Finnish version “minority” the “Sami people” started crying on twitter about the character being racist. And was happily surprised when YLE reacted immediately and removed it from air and acted as the real “Sami people” where upset by it. Because “we not racist”.

So, let me get this straight. A girl who lives in Helsinki thinks she is one of the “Sami people” (live in the green area) and that she can talk for the American Indians because she herself is a "Finnish Indian" and now everyone including the state broadcasting company needs to do what she demands because “muh culture… ehm I mean their culture”
When will this insanity stop?!
