Many of you know about the Dot Torture targets that are out there. For those of you that don't, Dot Torture targets are small 8.5 x 11 sheets you can print out and take to the range. The course of fire is written for each dot and the entire exercise takes 50 rounds. The best thing is, these can be used for carbine or pistol training.
Personally, I've found that these exercises are challenging and can be therapeutic when you're trying to get over a slump or a plateau.
If you're pressed for time or want to make a quick range trip during a lunch break, you can burn 50 rounds in a relatively short amount time.
Do a quick search and many different variations of this drill pop up. Another fun technique is for you and a friend to pick different ones and trade at the range. Go through the unknown version for time and the loser buys beers when you get to the pub.
Whatever you decide, be safe and stay vigilant.
