I Love Fireworks!!!!

I don't know why it is, but I have a fascination with fireworks. Small sparks...big explosive ones...loud bangs...beautiful colors...it doesn't matter.

When it comes to the big town displays, I love to take pictures. While vacationing in Orlando one year, I requested a room that had a balcony that was facing the fireworks at Disney.

As much as I love watching them, I love shooting them off myself. It is a shame that a few irresponsible people have forced different states to enforce various laws against certain fireworks. New Jersey has just begun allowing some of the minor ones to be sold here again.

During the Cabbage Patch Doll craze, I was able to obtain fireworks from a Long Island resident because I was able to get him on the list to purchase one. If anybody remembers those days, CP Kids were hard to come by.

Pennsylvania was always a great place to purchase fireworks. I found places in the Poconos, as well as Lancaster County. Well, the Fourth Of July is almost upon us, which is prime fireworks season. I urge anyone if you are going to host your own display, be careful and don't let your kids set them off. Also, check with your town to see what is allowed, even if it doesn't make sense!
