What should do at first time log in steemit?

I saw many videos at this topic on youtube . I frustrated puzzeled.after sometime i decide firstly setup my profile
Then an overview of all steemit option .
Some option like blog , chat etc easy understood but other were nit concerend then i decided view video on each option for better understanding .
