Trauma’s Lethal Triad of Hypothermia
Did you know that it is very very difficult to stop an internal bleeding in the torso or head?
The most iportant thing you can do is to call for help, because the person needs emergency surgery.
The second most important thing you can do is to keep the person warm. If the injured person gets cold (<35°C/95°F) he/she can develop coagulopathy. A condition that stops the coagulation system to funktion, and makes the blood unable to cloth, and bleeding increases. It is deadly.
Keep injured people warm!
