Rise of Steemit and Censorship of other platforms.

Hello Steemit,

I'm sitting here at the library, after having been on steemit for around a week. I really like the platform and the concepts of user generated rewards. I feel like it addresses many of the issues of censorship and trolling that you see on platforms today such as Youtube, Facebook and Instagram.

But today, something strange happened. I wondered to myself, how to reach out to other people who produce great content and promote steemit to them. I mean, surely, if you're going to do all that editing to a video, an article, podcast or a post... Steemit could be just one more place to upload to?

This got me thinking about great content and great marketing. I believe, historically, people go where theres good and relevant content to them. Steemit is the first platform I've seen to attract quality content by using crypo currencies as a reward mechanism.

Its getting late for a Friday evening, and I'm about to go home. I just wanted to leave you with some thoughts. How long will it be before steemit and its various Steem backed platforms become established as the go to site for information?
