Although the planet earth has been inhabited by humans since millions of years ago, but many things are still "secret" on this round planet. The discovery of this strange mohawk fish originated from the discovery of other red fish groups in Frederick Henry Bay, off the coast of southeastern coast of Tasmania, Australia. this group consists of 20 to 40 fish. A few kilometers from there, found a mohawk fish that also consists of 20 to 40 tail. But this strange fish is concealed of its existence.

There are at least 10 groups of known mohawk fish. They spread in diverse habitats. Some living in shallow estuaries are also in deeper places. unfortunately not much is known about their behavior. Therefore still need a deep research about this mohawk fish. Wild collector easily catch it, this fish is considered extinct.
