Irondequoit Creek at Linear Park was a restoration project that recovered a wastewater treatment facility into a productive trout stream by eliminating the plant discharge into the creek and ultimate flow into Lake Ontario. Because of its close proximity to dense suburban and urban environs, it is considered an urban fishery.
Enjoy some of my select photos of the trout run taken 05.17.18.

I wasn't fishing - just went to take pix. My main hobby is photography and getting exercise doing it - more with street than outdoor scenes.

PS: There's salmon and lake trout runs in from Lake Ontario to and beyond this point on the Irondequoit Creek. The runs start in late winter and last until the lakers are done laying eggs. It was part of why they restored the creek - to create that in town fishing opportunity.
