Friday Fishing: Hands Free

Friday Fishing: Hands Free

One thing that I learned when I was young was that it helps to not carry a traditional tackle box when you are on the hunt for fish while walking along a river of lake. Every time you move, you need to pick it up and lug it with you.

Instead, I have tended to use a fishing tackle box that resembles a fanny pack. I was using a backpack for a while, and that seemed to be OK, but it was not nearly as organized and things on the bottom were often hard to get to easily. Once I bought the first tackle box that you could buckle around your waste, I have never gone back.

I have a couple of traditional tackle boxes that reside at home to store things, but when it is time to explore a lakeshore, I take the essentials and go hands free with the waist tackle box. It is surprising how much you can fit in those small tackle boxes too!

Have you ever tried using a tackle box similar to this?

Thank you for stopping by!

Still i don't use a tackle box. I always enjoy your fishing. Fishing is really enjoyable as from few years ago I often enjoy fishing with my friends. Thanks again sir @brain.rrr for sharing your beautiful fishing experience with us.

Good experience my friend . Fishing is so interesting . Have a nice day @brian.rrr

I use a giant tackle box

Now whoever came up with this idea has got to be rolling in money. I have never been fishing before but when I do get to go, I am definitely buying this for myself.

I only use a tackle box to store the stuff I might want, but probably won't carry with me. It stays in the car unless I'm fishing from a boat.

My choice is a vest. My brother has one with a mesh back so it's not too hot.

Fishing now is one of my frustrations @brian.rrr but I fished before using spear that is attached to a pellet gun with a thin line and spooled to an empty bottle at the end of the gun.

Living and learning. If I decide to start fishing, I have a series of your articles to study first. Thank you.

Every day with new experiences. Getting an idea when we want to go fishing is to carry a lightweight tool but that is useful.

Have not used them before but as it seems they sure are useful

While I do use other kinds of bag for normal usages !

Over time the experience is taken, so it's good that you're getting lighter and more practical every time you spend your time fishing.

I haven't tried this yet since I have only fished twice @brian.rrr but I learned about tackle boxes from your post.

Thank you!

I always love your fish hunting.
