Inshore fishing before Hurricane Irma

On the last day that my boat club let us take boats out prior to hurricane Irma we decided to stay inshore and make the best of the situation. We cast netted up pinfish, sandperch and some greenbacks and began looking for a snook spot without leaving the pass. It was raining and big storms were offshore so we anchored up in front of Gators the waterfront restaurant and had solid action for several hours.Mostly snapper and short grouper were biting but it was good enough for us. Take a look at @bayareabutcher for the full report!
