Happy Birthday!! (Belated)
I don’t fish, but have always wanted to do this. Did you get to see any dolphins? We once took a whale watching trio out if Dana Point and got no whales, but it was a beautiful day, the waters were fairly calm, and we saw hundreds of dolphins.

    No dolphins on this trip, just seals near the bait barge and a sea lion at the kelp beds (which I'm sure played some part in why there where few fish in the area). We both have our fishing licenses now (for the rest of the calendar year), so we are definitely going to be fishing more in the coming months. I'd like to take another offshore trip if we can. :)
