Detroit Lake Oregon Fishing

Decided this last weekend to give up on fishing at Detroit Lake, Oregon because I was getting zero bites. Plus, I was annoyed at inconsiderate fellow fishermen that decided to troll my fishing area. I get it, public lake, people can fish where ever they want but there is also courtesy. The kayakers going back and forth, I get that, but motorboat comes right up to 50 feet from the shore and parks it there. I, literally, could not cast because they were so close. Then another group, non fishing folk, crusing through on their fancy boat and blairing there music as if others want to here it, which by the way, we did not. I think it is mostly me, getting too old, not that old. I'm just too polite I guess because I would never do that kind of stuff. At the end of the day, the fishing stunk, but I guess it could have been worse I guess like having to work on a Sinday. Lol!
