Star of the Show

This was the magic fly that fooled the best fish last week. They call it the Mega Prince. I fished it in tandem with a smaller fly called the Iron Lotus just because it sounded cool. The fish ignored the Iron Lotus and loved the Mega Prince.

They are very fickle creatures. We once had a fantastic evening fishing a fly called Pearl Trude. It doesn't look anything like an insect, but the trout ate it anyway. We still joke about seeing another Pearl Trude hatch.
