These days I came across a very interesting video.
Please watch it! I think it is worth taking 3 minutes of your precious time for it :)
I’ve been interested in health, wellness and fitness for a long time, I’ve read many books, watched even more films, interviews, videos and I am constantly searching for more information although I think that for now I’ve found my truths and I am just trying to stick to them as much as I can. One of things that I believe that really really matters is spending time outside as much as one can and trying to be as active as you can. But not in the typical way - sitting all day on a chair and then going to the gym. No matter how good your diet is, if you don’t spend enough time outside, it couldn’t compensate the lack of Nature. We are designed to work with it, to follow the day and night cycles, to charge ourselves with energy from the clean air, the sun, the ground and the water. For example if you spend most of your time outside and you smoke, it won’t be so damaging for you, like if you don’t smoke but you are always inside. Probably you’ve noticed how when you are tired a quick walk in the park can immediately recharge you.
I try to do nothing inside that I could do outside and that’s why when the weather allows me, I prefer to workout outside. Except the many treks, I also do yoga or stretching or some exercises.
A while ago I also came across the facebook page of MovNat and I liked their idea very much. It is so good that they are populating the natural movement. Here it is:

It looks like a really helpful page although I haven’t read a lot from there, they have some pretty good videos showing different ways to move naturally. Your body craves natural movement! It is like food for your cells to move the whole body in all the possible directions, to bend, to jumb, to climb and so on.
My favourite way to move naturally is hiking without a pathway. To try to make your way through the creeping pines and the prickly juniper on a steep terrain and to have to climb here or there is like a full body workout.
One of the last hikes like that was to some rocks above the river Beli Iskar.
Here is how they look from the road around the river:
These photos are taken several months ago and here are some from that day I climbed to the top of that rocks. It is called Eagle’s rocks.
Throughout the whole hike I had to encounter different terrains - dense forests, rocks, stone rivers or just prickly bushes. It was so tiring!
The views also were not bad at all. Although it was a cloudy and dark day.
My places for a quick rest were sometimes strange but always with a great view.
Or with something for a quick snack. Like cranberries or hazelnuts.
And the best way to finish that workout is to plunge into the ice cold river for several seconds :)
Move naturally! Stay fit! Because you deserve it :)
