I've started working out again. What started as a workout project in 2013 to get over my break up opened my eyes to fitness lifestyle and nutrition.
I've been breaking for years and only after I started consistently exercising I realized I've been living unhealthily for way too long. Luckily for me, I realized it sooner than later.
But life caught up with me. I had to prioritize other responsibilities and solve my finances. So, I fell off the track.
Now I’m back on it with full force. Sure, I’ve been making adjustments to accommodate my new environment and it’s been taking more time than I’d like to, but I’ve started and that’s MOST IMPORTANT to me.
One good tip I can give to people who want to start working out but can’t find the motivation. Put your money into it, buy the basic equipment that fits into your room. Spending your money on the equipment usually builds on your sunken cost fallacy. You’ve already put the money into it, might as well use the thing. It doesn’t have to be an all-out beast workout, all you need is to START – even if it means starting over every day. If you keep things consistent (even starting over), everything else should fall into place.
I like fitness conscious people :)
