Good day Everyone
So last night I decided that my unhealthy times are over. Its time to get back into shape. I have always been a healthy person, but for some or other reason I just got lazy. That laziness has been going on for more than one year. My Goal is to get back into shape and document my journey as I go along.
I am an Engineer and work from 8am till 5pm. So I need to find the best suited routine that will suite me. I am not a morning person, so training int the mornings our out for now. I always follow a type of wolf diet in the beginning, where I just eat once per day, so my "meal photos" won't be overwhelming. In doing these blogs, it will motivate me even more and allow me to store all of my data for future reference.
Here are some before and after photos taken 2 years ago:
I lost more than 15kg in less than 3 months, but for some or other reason, I just got lazy. I picked up almost all the weight over the last year and my energy levels are zero to none. Luckily, exercising and working hard has been a big part of my life. Its always tough in the beginning, but when you start getting into a routine again, things start getting easier.
This time, I want to track my progress and log everything as far as possible.
Lets Begin:
DAY ZERO:
Weight: Unknown, Did not have time to weigh today +- 123kg
Fitness level: Very Poor
Exercise for the day:
For my first day I wanted to just get my blood pumping and preparing my body for what is to come the next few months. People always overdo their first day (me included), so I have learned how to do it the right way. I will start going to the gym from tomorrow, that's where things get interesting.
- 5 sets 10 reps pushups
- 5 sets 15 reps situps
- 5 sets 10 reps Bodyweight Deep Squats
I always superset my exercises. Ill do 10 pushups, immediately after that, 15 situps, and then immediately after that 10 Squats. Rest a few seconds and start again. My normal goal is 10 sets and 10 reps of each exercise. I believe in doing 100 reps for each exercise.
Till next time.
Cheers
