Tomorrow will be day zero of my health and fitness journey. over the last 2 years I neglected my health and stopped working out. I have been eating all the wrong foods and have gained around 15kg. i was a healthy 84kg (185lb). Now I tip the scales at 94kg (207lb). I want this to change, I am now 30 years of age, getting myself fit and healthy will only get harder from this point on so it is best to start right away. I used to go to the gym 3-5 days a week, lifting free weights and not really taking part in much cardio. i used to be very skinny and my goal was to bulk up. Now I am on the opposite end of the scale and wish to slim down. I will train mostly at home and i will try for 7 days a week. I will be doing calisthenics (body weight) training. clean healthy diet and most probably no use of supplements . I will do my best to post progression photos and I will also try to include a Vlog on by D.Tube.
Because I do plan to use Steem a lot more, I will need to invest in a quality camera, editing software and possibly an upgrade to my computer. Money does not grow on trees unfortunately so building up the funds to do this will take some time. With that said I will still try and upload what I can but it may be very low grade, so my apologies. Any sort of advice would be greatly appreciated. if it is to do with videos, my blog itself, my diet or my exercise routine. Anything feel free to post a comment. any if not all comments I will reply to Because basically no one follows me so it is very easy for me to communicate directly back to you.
Thank you kindly for your time
Good on you @gazdawge !
I'll look forward to seeing you progress with your calisthenics and getting back into shape.
It sounds like a good plan, I also train at home (calisthenics and weights) and don't take supplements. If I can do it at 50 you should do much better at 30.
I wish you well on your journey.
I just noticed you're an Aussie, check out @teamaustralia mate.

thanks man, yeah with work and everything it is hard sometimes to stay motivated and on the right path. I will do my best.
50 and still training? That is awesome mate, I am happy to hear that you train both and without the use of supplements as well. I followed that group as well, thanks for putting me onto it. Good to see a network of fellow Australians. makes a person feel a little less small in such a large cyber space

Yeah I don't have much choice about the training @gazdawge , I have that many busted body parts and torn ligaments etc, that If I don't stay in top shape I basically can't walk. My body is held together by muscle tension and willpower. I need two TKR,s a hip replacement, a rotator cuff repair and spinal fusion therapy but I just can't afford any of it.
I have many days where I can't walk but I just make the most of the days where I can.
I'm like a high functioning cripple.
