I just wanted to share with you all this glute workout I do twice a week to boost my atheism, functionality and strength in the gym.
Having a strong pair of glutes has been a staple in my strength training journey as well being an all around functional athlete.
Enough with the chit chat, give this a try and let me know what you think!
WARM UP - 10 minute steady pace walk on a treadmill. I usually set the INCLINE to 10 and SPEED to 3.0 (machines may vary)
Exercise 1: Barbell Back squats ass to grass.
**Work up to a heavy single of 5 reps
**Drop the weight and do 3 sets of 10 repetitions
Exercise 2: Smith Machine Bulgarian Split Squats
**Work up to a heavy single of 5 reps
**Drop the weight and do 5 sets of 8 repetitions

NOTE: With this exercise its best to start light and progress every week.
Exercise 3: ANY HAMSTRING MOVEMENT OF YOUR CHOICE (Back Extension or Hamstring Curl)
4 sets of 8 repetitions
Exercise 4: Standing OR Seated Calf Raises
2 sets of 20 repetitions (increase weight on the second set)
VOILA.
Repeat this workout twice a week and I hope you can enjoy some serious Glute gains.
