What Time You Should Wake Up And Why

in fitness •  7 years ago

This is definitely a personal preference but there are definitely reasons why you should wake up at certain times. I always wake up before 7:00 EVEN on the weekends. For example today I got up at 6:30.

Productivity

One reason it is good to wake up so early is so you can get a lot more done. The earlier you get up, the more productive you will be the whole day.

Energy

Waking up early often gives you massive energy boosts throughout the day, especially if you do something to do with fitness or anything active when you wake up.

Conclusion: What time?

The actual time you wake up does not matter as much as the time you sleep does. Whether or not you are energized often depends on if you are in the middle of a sleep cycle or not.

Sleep cycles are 90 minutes long and so your body basically sleeps for 90 minutes and then goes on to another sleep cycle. You should wake up during the end of a cycle or right before the end. That means you should sleep for a total of 6, 7.5 or 9 hours. These will be the sleeping amounts that will help you out.
