There is a great myth in the fitness world about the use of weights, especially on women.
As I have mentioned, I studied Nutrition and Dietetics for 3 years, and I have been working out for about 4 years. I have also be looking for information about fitness and health to learn different ways of training my body. Weight training is ESSENTIAL if you want to be toned (that is, to mark your muscles and improve the appearance of your skin) and also have greater resistance in terms of your strength. The weights make you feel better without any doubt.
In order for the muscles to grow (increase their size) it is necessary to lift weights, so that micro-tears of the muscle fiber take place, which later, during the days of rest and with an adequate diet, will regenerate creating new muscle tissue and, therefore, bigger muscles.
That is the simplest way to say it, however, factors such as your physical condition, your pre and post training, the load you use (kg / lb), the repetitions, the number of sets, the type of exercises, etc. determine the final result.
I want to finish by answering the question “Should women lift weights?” Yes, of course, women MUST lift weights to obtain the multiple benefits of short and long-term muscle care and training.
Women cannot "get big" naturally like men because we do not have enough testosterone in the body. So, do not believe in myths, do not let yourself be intimidated, you can carry much more weight than you think possible and keep looking feminine.
Get advice from a professional or do a lot of research on the internet before changing your training routine to avoid injury.

Very good your publication and interesting. It is important that if you want to gain muscle, you should eat very well, especially carbohydrates and turn them into muscles, with strong exercise routines. Greetings and I will follow your publications.

Thank you for your comment! That's totally true, people usually think about protein when talking about gaining muscles, but carbs are also really important. Greetings!
