I Can't Walk...

At least not like I normally can....

Friday night I set foot in the gym for the first time in 2018 and also for the first time in about 2-3 months...

I took it really easy, but still destroyed my legs. A few sets of squats and a few sets of deadlifts then a 15 minute walk on the treadmill and I'm...

When I walk I look something like a cross between a newborn deer and a zombie... A zom-deer. Worth it overall, but I'm asking myself why oh why did I stop making the gym a priority and let myself go this much...

Right now the only fitness related goal I have for 2018 is to ruck 50 miles in less than 20 hours... More on that to come.

At if you can't walk normally you didn't in the coolest way possible :) By blasting the quads.

They were blasted that's for sure!

well done getting back in the gym man, I've being doing some running and a bit of circuit training but I really wanna hit the weights again.

I detest running 🤣... Was in a good rucking schedule before Christmas, but I definitely prefer the weights. It's just a matter of not letting other stuff get in the way like I have the last few months and making lifting a priority again...

Man that's a huge goal. So that's 2.25 miles every hour?

Best of luck and know exactly how you feel after I skip leg day for a while.

Yea, it stems from Teddy Roosevelt and later JFK issuing a challenge of sorts to the troops/citizens.
I'll be doing a write up about it shortly!

Leg day sucks and at the same time is also my favorite thing to get after in the gym haha...
