Challenge Overview:

  • You choose what types of exercise reps to do.
  • 30 minutes of fitness walking, running, spinning, biking, cross-country skiing, etc., can count as 100 reps if you need to rest or can't use weights.
  • I'll award 1 SBD for every 10,000 rep milestone. (33 SBD paid out)
  • I run the numbers daily which is sometimes harder than my reps.

Conditions:

  • Weights not required.
  • Do real reps, use good form, aiming for 100+.
  • Start your reply with "Challenge Completed".
  • Reply with a list of the exercises and reps you did.
  • Cumulative tallies are appreciated as a separate line.
  • Only submit reps you've done, not ones you're planning to do.
  • Use the tag "fitnesschallenge" on associated posts.
  • Upvoting or resteeming is appreciated to reach more.
  • Try to upvote as many contributors as possible to motive each other.

Advice:

  • Stretch before and after.
  • Breathe properly on each rep.
  • Quality over quantity.
  • Eat a healthy snack after/stay hydrated.
  • Start with exercises you enjoy to build up for harder ones.
  • Take before pictures to appreciate results over time.
  • Feel good about your accomplishments.

My Daily Challenge Completed - 100 reps:

50 Air Squats
50 Calf Bar Raises (75 pounds)

My Daily Assessment:

The woes of trying to work out every day during baseball season continue. Pitching 6 innings and playing 8 more innings at second base has my right arm and shoulder too tender to work out just yet.

From @musclegirlfusion:

"Since I started posting in this challenge, you've given me a reason to blog on steemit. No matter how discouraged I get when it seems like no one is reading what I write, I know I can write it and post it here and it adds to the challenge. So thank you for giving me the motivation I need to stick with blogging!!"

From @bitfiend:

"After starting 6 days ago I already feel stronger. This is definitely the most consistent exercise I've done in an extremely long time but I am happy to be taking part! While I walk around mostly in pain, I know it's all for a good cause! My health! I am feeling better and I'd say my sickness is mostly gone now. I think that if I had not been exercising, I may have been sick for a bit longer. Persistence pays off!"

From @mightpossibly:

"I find it deeply satisfying to do these reps, which is a big deal. I've always hated the gym and prefer to exercise at home. But I've lacked the discipline to do it. It sort of feels like I have gym buddies now, without the hassle of going to the gym."

From @notorious562:

"I seriously cannot explain how much this group pushes and motivate me to keep working harder. I love this fitness community and the support and encouragement will help us achieve our goals."

From @khufu:

"Your challenge has helped immensely to keep me motivated lately. I've had a lot of... problems going on so your challenge has been a quantum of sanity in an insane world for me."

Good Lord! How many miles do your ride a day?

I have had a 22 mile goal on my MapMyRide app for more than a year. But that goal is a "soft" one. I want to ride 15-25 miles 4 days a week. I do take breaks from that here and there to take walks, lift weight and even do a tractor tire routine from time to time.

Challenge completed - 300 reps:

5 minute treadmill (0.9 km) (0)
50 warmup reps (0)

20x3 spiderman crawls (still working out the technique, but I think I managed pretty well -- filled in the sets with pushups when I failed) (60)
12x3 Alternating dumbbell press (36)
12x3 Rotational dumbbell shoulder press (36)
12x3 dumbbell shoulder "L" raises (36)
24x4 Alternating woodchopper pushdowns (with tube) (96)

60 push ups? Nice work!!

My Assessment

I have been on plenty of walks the last few days because I live in the beautiful English countryside and the weather has been amazing and sunny!

Lots of footwork there!! I already finalized Sunday/Monday, but can count the Tuesday 200 rep walk in the post that I'm locking up now.

Daily Challenge Complete: 400 reps
50 push up
50 chain up
200 walk
100 one hand push ups

Challenge Completed

  • Push-ups 15 x 2 = 30
  • Situps 15 x 2 = 30
  • Walking for 30 minutes from house to school
  • Carrying a bag with 5kls 30 minutes
  • Walking for 30 minutes from school to house.

How to compute this now? haha. Sorry, I'm just newbie that's why I don't know how to count this mix activities. :D

sorry for my late submission. Yesterday I'm not able to open my Steemit account because of WiFi problem. Thank you for your consideration.

I say that normal walking in life doesn't really count as reps. If you're walking or running with the intent to exercise, then that's the right approach. I'll count 100 reps here, but commuting isn't really in the spirit of this blog.

No, I always ride on a jeepney and tricycle whenever I go to our school but yesterday I chose to walk rather than commuting to add it to my daily challenge. It's okay if you don't consider this. I understand haha. Maybe Next time I will ride on a jeepney and tricycle again hahaha.

Daily Challenge Complete: 400 reps
-walking in the road.
