Detox water// All about it

During summer I wanted to try a new trend.I think you saw all over the internet numerous version o detox water. If not let me enlighten you. Here is the review!

But does it really works?

NO and YES!

Why?

Well,

Detox water or flavored water is infused water with slices of fruits or herbal leaves. How it works? First you make it!

Ingredients

-Water (cold or hot)
-Every cobination of fruits and herbs you want
-Ice(for cold water)

Then you grab a bottle/infuser/jar. Add fruits then (+ice) and water. Let it infuse 2h-1day depending on preferences.

What actually happens?

During this time fruits and herbs leave their flavor in water. Sometimes, if you leave them longer some vitamins and nutrients may pass in water, but the amount is so low that we can't say that it helps our body or even more helps with detoxification. Sorry to dissapoint you!

but I also said YES right? How is that!?

Guys, you know you shoud drink water, so I won't say this again, but I will say you that it helps you with detox!

Drinking water in general helps this process cause it cleanse the body. This is why it might seem like it is working, but it is the same if you drink plain water or detox water.

Still, if you are like me it might be easyer for you to drink more water if it is flavored.
It won't hurt you and it taste really good.

Some of my favourite combos are:
~lemon-ginger-basil
~cinamon-orange-apple
~cinamon-apple
~parsley-cucumber
~mint-watermelon

But don't forget! If you really want to detox, you have to do those things simultaneous and don't expect to see the result next day or week. It takes time!

  1. Drink plenty of water
  2. Walk, don't take the bus/car. Stairs not elevator.
  3. Cut junk food
  4. Eat green.(Not a single joke here! Try to eat parsley, basil, dill and other green stuff. You can add them in salad or eat them simple)
  5. Eat citrus
  6. Eat foods that boost metabolism
    and
    Work out for a better result!
