The Best Way to Pack Your Christmas Tree?

in fknmayhem-tumbls •  7 years ago

We all occasionally encounter those moments in which we think *How come I didn't think of that?"

Steemian @erodedthoughts just put us in one of those when he shared how he put away last year's Christmas tree:

Each ornament unwrapped and placed on the tree before heading out to get the years new one or sitting down to craft some for the year. 25+ years of ornaments taken out of the box and placed on the tree, year in and year out. Adding at least seven every year for the ones at home and every few years packing up a box for one of the kids to take to their new home.

Putting the tree up this year before Christmas took 6 hours between getting everything out of the attic, un-boxing, unwrapping the ornaments, placing them on the tree and doing the lights

Putting the tree away this year took 15 minutes from start to finish

To discover what @erodedthoughts did and how he saved more than 5 hours, head over to his Genius or Bad Dad post.

We say... Genius.

Hey there, this is @FknMayhem's alt account.

Here I mostly tumbl (resteem with added commentary and attitude or snark, a form of advanced curation Steem doesn't offer), zapp, post to forums, and submit other miscellaneous mischief. The latter which may or may not include more personal content.

There may be days it can be noisy around here, follow at your own risk. Alternatively, follow my attempts at more in-depth own content on my main account, @FknMayhem.

I am also on zeh Titter. Feel free to pitch me your worthy suggestions there. But make them worth my time, please. A SteemAuto curation trail can be joined here (must be logged in) to support and upvote all great content found and curated.
