Hi all, I don't know how this flagging thing is to be resolved. I am going to create a new practice for myself which, I am calling "flag mining". If flagging is meant, by the flagger, to hide things, then I can go treasure hunting and find things. I have found cool things already, mining. Lord Starr Of The Principality of Sealand, is one. this is kind of an ultimate in the area of sovereignty. So, flag mining will probably yield mostly sportsball but, it is the gems in which I am interested. If anyone else is interested, please share your results. I know the moderator can help but they probably have better things to do than listen to me complain. Thank you steemians.

p.s. anyone recognize the map?

The map is One Eyed Willie's Treasure Map that the Goonies Gang used to find One Eyed Willie in the 1985 Movie "Goonies" ;)

And yes, flagging is fascinating to watch, have you seen steemviz lately ?

i was hoping someone would recognize it, and score! i will check out steemviz. i am only a little over 2 weeks here. i've been having too much fun with posting and replying to do much else.

Be prepared for it to take over your life :P You have a new follower

steemviz, holy crap, i feel naked. except, i feel like i'm hanging out with a bunch of other naked people. thanks.

Thats gold, can i quote you on that in a future post ? Lol

sure, sounds good.

(I love your idea by the way!)

thanks. treasure hunters away!

One question.
I am really confused by this one.
If a content is flagged and it really should be removed - some dribble-dabble, one letter post or anything like that - how do they remove it from the blockchain? It should be permanent. Or it is only hidden in this website?

i think it is only hidden. i do not think it can be removed from the blockchain. i am sure it is only a matter of time before someone invents a god-bot that can scramble such things from view but perhaps that will never happen here. i couldn't say.
