How steemit is changing right now?, one of the most asked questions of nowadays. Without falling on the technical side of steemit or steem blockchain, we can see a bunch of changes. And these changes are important for every user. Most of the users are communicating with some of the Dapps made on and for steem blockchain like SteemConnect which is the most used and widely accepted tool on Steemit. Apart from steemconnect, we can see some centralized behavior of this decentralized platform right now. If you head to the trending page right now then you can see a trending post with this same title by @happymoneyman. I haven't seen the video yet, As I want to express my thoughts before watching it. Feeling Puzzled? Well, then let's clear this one by one...
Utopian-io Hack!
- Utopian-io was hacked, resulting in the number of access tokens leak. However, it wasn't a big trouble for the utopian-io and they repair some of the glitches too.
- The biggest thing which is affected by this leak is SteemConnect, As a number of changes are been proposed in the new update of SteemConnect.
- As per info, @skipjack states that his group hacked the database of utopian-io and made utopian-io to go offline. It is not a good news for all of the use but we can see some prominent or good effect of this hack.
- I hope that we will soon see the new version of utopian-io!
Centralized Behavior
- Centralized behavior is an important topic for right now. In my 7-Months of experience, I had seen many collateral attacks but this one is something new! I am talking about @berniesanders and his campaign against @haejin. Nothing new! lol.
IT TAKES A VILLAGE! ($1579+ removed from @haejin's rewards!!!)
- First time I saw something this big! @berniesanders has been going around haejin and roncherelaxo keeping this condition tight and rough. Haejin has been doing this reward pool rape for a long time.
- In the month of April, many big users joined this campaign #flag-haejin and now we can see the result too. @skipjack also said that he hacked(not yet clear) and is using the tokens to downvote @haejin. It seems like people now gathering together and opposing against @haejin at greater scale now.
- And now we can see the perfect example of an unofficial centralized team, the uncentralized behavior of this decentralized platform.
I wonder what can be done differently, to help the small baby fish like me to be able to see the damage done .
