Flagging is not censorship

I think what's happening here is that everyone more or less thinks it's fine you share trailers and articles, but the reward for doing so was simply too much considering the level of effort. Curating trailers or copying most of an article and "quoting it" isn't at all difficult or represent something original.

He flagged and censored posts that weren't even promoted. He runs a bot that's accusing me of a scam on every post. I think it's reasonable to say he's become abusive.

You could just stop reposting other people's content, which in of itself is abusive of the original creator - since they're not being compensated - and of the network. You're not going to find a sympathetic ear here and it's not censorship. Your posts are still visible.

The original creator's published their videos on a platform that encourages and facilitates sharing. They have setup their account to enable this type of activity.

Why do you say the posts are still visible? They are all currently hidden. His screenshot is a lie he didn't scroll down to show all the posts he had already flagged and then flagged all the posts he used in teh screen shot right after. He flagged them down to nothing just like he did in the past. Go look for yourself @movietrailers

I may not have your sympathy but let's at least get the facts straight. He's been censoring the account.

Because I can unhide them. They're still on the network. Maybe to you that's a distinction without a difference, but to social media it's all the difference in the world when it comes to the concept of censorship. Unlike Facebook, your posts can never actually be deleted. I know the trailers have been put up to share, but if that's where you're coming from you should decline the payouts for at least some of your content. Sharing for the sake of sharing and profiting are different animals.

I can understand your distinction on censorship but I believe you also understand my view that it does amount to a form of censorship. I would also like to point to his auto spamming all the posts making false accusations.

I don't mean to be going in circles with you, because I can sense your frustration and I totally get it. Being flagged into oblivion is more like a form of public shaming. They're not kicking you out or shutting you up, but they are taking the monetary award away and publicly saying they disapprove of your behavior, which I also understand.

If what you want is respect and rewards here on the network, it's going to require reworking some of your material. That's not that bad of a punishment.

If what you're saying is true - regarding his bot spamming - then that too should be brought to light and stopped.

He auto posts the following message on every one of the posts:

That is what I was complaining about in the chat screen grabs he took and used in this post. I said at least add "Shitpost" and be honest. I dont agree that they are but that is the actual reason he has admitted to, he deems them shitposts. He knows they aren't spam, plagiarism, scam or fraud.

I see a major distinction between the accusations being made by that bot and the subjective opinion it's shit.

It's fair to complain that this happens on ALL of your posts if it is... unless all your posts are spam. ;)
