Is the Earth Flat?

It's funny how the people that think anything different from what we have been taught by our goverments are called a conspiracy theorist simply for suggesting that what they are being told does not seem correct.
I've recently been looking into the theory that the Earth is not a globe and is possibly a flat surface of some kind. At first when I heard of this I thought it was a ridiculous idea but was soon left scratching my head when I heard a few aguments to support this claim. The argument that I find hard to get my mind around is how all the oceans manage to stick to the surface of the earth. I know you may think well it's because of gravity you nutter but just think about water for a minute. water always moves to the lowest ground when possible and always levels its self off. Gravity would need some enormous amount of pressure pushing down on the oceans in order to hold them to the surface, the same gravity lets birds fly around and you and I move freely to our destinations. I think density and bouyance is a better theory than gravity, sometimes the answer to the question is the simplist.
