No Way The Earth Is Flat 1, I saw the proof with my own eyes

Flat earth theory has became a big thing lately. What shocked me was there are nearly 40% of the people believe in this theory. Well, at least from voters on some YouTube videos. For example, there is a FlatEarth theory debunked video which I think it explains quite clearly and full of facts. It earned 8000 likes for the video, but at the same time, it received 6000 dislikes. I thought the video is as clear as it can be stating the facts. There shouldn't be any arguments after watching it. But how wrong I was. And the people who disliked the Video was full of hate. A lot of the comments were hateful attacks. Well I'm not going to sit here and let this be. I actually went to see one of the proofs myself. I went to Niagara-on-the-Lake. I looked across Lake Ontario to see downtown Toronto. Bingo, the city appeared behind the horizon very clearly. I can only see 70% of the CN Tower. The distance is over 30 kilometers and you need tall buildings to show such effect. Flat Earther claim objects are always in front of the horizon and I proved them wrong.800px-Toronto_seen_from_Niagara_on_the_Lake.jpg

The only problem with this observation is that you are using your naked eye. Go and purchase a Nikon p900 camera that allows an 83x zoom, and what you will find is that you can zoom in and see the base of all of these buildings.

I know it seems unlikely... however, the law of perspective contains the 'Vanishing point' directly at the center where all lines converge.

Go get the camera or just youtube some videos where people prove this using the camera.

It's just an illusion using your naked eye. The buildings bases are visible when you zoom in!

Can't you see the photo posted with this blog?

Yes I can see it, but did you read what I wrote?

Go on youtube right now, and watch a P900 camera zoom in and it will show the buildings bases. I explained to you that the Vanishing Point is the reason for the inability to see the bases. The top of the water and the base of the buildings merge at the V.P. forming an illusion. This illusion is caused by the inability of the eye to see forever.

There are tons of examples of the 83x zooming camera pulling in objects that are outside of the perception of the human eye.

I did see those videos and none of them can zoom in and show the bottom of the buildings. On the other hand, there is a video called "Flat Earth Dishonesty: Zooming in on the horizon, Toronto" clearly shows the same view after zoomed in.

Look at this video and read the description. Assuming the math checks out, this would prove the curvature is either nonexistent or much less sloped than previously thought - aka the diameter of the earth is much larger...

Even this video shows the bottom of the buildings being blocked. Look at the comparison at 1:48. And the calculation on the description it's totally wrong. Where do these people come up with such formula. Anyone can open a website for calculating something with wrong formulas, probably even with an agenda.

The bottom of the buildings isn't the strongest point this video makes. She is making the point that the entire building should be below the horizon. With enough curve, and by the way the formula is 8 inches per mile squared, so 8x(M2), that means the entire damn building should be below water... We're talking exponential curve, at just a few miles it comes out to thousands of feet and this is taken from the diameter of the earth using curve trigonometry.

Now, with that being said - the bases of the building isn't as important as the entire building should be under the horizon and isn't...

Those numbers only prove there is something wrong with the data, such as the true size of the earth. Our main point here is the earth is not flat. Just look at the sun ,it sets entirely behind the horizon. That is plain and clear. If there is a horizon that can block something entirely, there is curvature.

it is absolutely mind-boggling that people believe the earth is flat. I have heard it more and more recently. It seems to be coming from celebrities and they have some wacky agendas.

Jeffjagoe, the statue of liberty can be seen on the open ocean from 65 miles. At the distance, the curvature of the earth should put the statue nearly 2,000 feet below the horizon... Except, it doesn't.

The earth is either flat, or the diameter of the earth is MASSIVELY bigger than we are told. It's mind boggling that you put condemnation before investigation -- that is the height of ignorance.

If we live inside a simulation any thing is possible I suppose/1

Even in a simulation, there is a model it bases on. And the current model is Globe Earth.

Never thought of a simulation having a necessary shape. couldn't the programmer just fancy a flat earth?

Simulation can have all possibilities, even a flat world. All I'm saying is, even if we are in a simulation, this "Current" simulation model Is based on a globe formula. And that's how we should look at it in this model. If one day all flat Earthers were born in a flat Earth simulation, or this current model switches to a flat base, congratulations, all of them Will be right then.

Yes flat earthers are a stretch and a little silly but the possibilities of life are what is interesting to me. Endless possibilities with infinite shapes(mostly round).

excellent! i follow you!
