Hello Steemit friends,

if you follow me you know i'm always looking for small cap high quality projects which have real products in the pipeline, so Flixxo. I was excited about the idea already 4 months ago and wrote about it. The project is now on the brink to publish the first real version of it's video streaming platform powered by BitTorrent and FLIXX token economics on 25th of June. This first version will still come as installer for desktop but the team is already working on a first web version (final product). They had already a funny demo:

There you can watch 5 funny short videos and learn about the token economics (FLIXX). When you start you'll get 80 FLIXX (test token) which you can you see on the upper right.

If you wanna watch a video you'll pay with your FLIXX, in the following example 50 FLIXX

I highly recommend the short movie Luminaris, it is funny, intelligent and very well produced stuff.

So after that you'll will have less FLIXX left. But what if you wanna watch another video and don't have enough to pay?

You can earn new FLIXX tokens simply by watchin' an ad (see first picture this post) and you'll get 90 FLIXX in this case.

FLIXX token economics

The demo just shows one way you can earn new FLIXX tokens. The ecosystem will take care of the following roles:

role	function
Viewers	earn FLIXX for ad watching, pay for watching content
Seeders	earn FLIXX for seeding/sharing
Content Creators	earn FLIXX from Viewers
Advertisers	buy FLIXX for paying Viewers

I don't know if this is complete (you can go to Flixxo's Telegram, it's a very good and active community there and people like Dr10, Catch AmaZix, CeeBee are very helpful if you have any questions) i guess not but it already shows how the roles interact with each other and that it would be interesting how it works out. For example Content Creators decide for what price they offer their content and that will create competition in favor of Viewers who get a better price for hopefully high quality content.

10,000 hours of exclusive content

Announced on April 20th Flixxo will publish 10,000 hours of exclusive content for his platform. My last info is that they will release content bit by bit.

To get a chance using the first desktop version of Flixxo and see the exclusive content you have just to go to their website and type in your email adress. You'll get a confirmation email.

I'm curious a) what content will be available and b) how token economics of FLIXX with the determined roles will work out. It is like a self regulating free market and the team is claiming that content creators will more earn than on YouTube!

The price of FLIXX is down to about $0.10 and the ICO price was about $0.09. This is still good because there are many projects out there with prices far under ICO price like Bee Token (due bad timing at Ethereum all time high).

About 40% of the total supply is now out in the market and the market cap of about $8 million is very low.

If the project is mass appealing i'll guess the price could spike but we'll see what happens after June 25th. I couldn't wait to test the platform and already signed up for this first phase of a working product after the already great MVP!

You can see that i'm very excited about the release and the idea of Flixxo which is also competing with YouTube in terms of giving smaller content creators a chance to monetize on their content. But just one important note!
